MOONCOIN is a traditional barn dance or ceilidh band ( sometimes spelt ceili ) based in North Wales, UK.
Founded in 1985, we are North Wales' most popular ceilidh band.
We play a variety of music from the British Isles and beyond, including Irish, Welsh, Scottish, English, American and European tunes, for dancers of all abilities and ages.
The band is available for weddings, functions, corporate events, private parties, ceilidhs, barn dances, twmpaths or any type of celebration. We have a caller, so you don't need to know the dances in advance - have fun learning the steps on the night!
We generally cover the area of North and Mid- Wales and the borders, extending into Cheshire, Shropshire, and occasionally Herefordshire -Worcestershire
